Sweet boy had a rough day today . . . his pulmonary hypertension became more prevelant once again and he had to be isolated from stimulation (including Stephanie and Casey) yet again. To make matters worse, after Stephanie noticed he was struggling to breath, it was discovered that his tracheotomy tube was too low and caused one of his lungs to collapse. However, good did come from this set back. At the time his lung was collapsed, his oxygen levels were in the low 80's and after fixing the trache they returned to the 90's . . . so this is wonderful. 90's are great! Now we just need to get this pulmonary hypertension back under control.
Still no surgery date . . . hopefully Stephanie and Casey will have an opportunity to speak with the surgeon tomorrow.
After such a wonderful day yesterday . . . I did not want to write this blog tonight. But I knew Sullivan's fan club would want to know of his status good day or bad day. So, tomorrow is another day full of hope, faith and strength.
