Hanging In There

Sullivan has successfully had a central line placed (this replaces the PIC line that he did not tolerate well). He had a "pretty good" day, only one scary episode & the rest of the day he was stable. As of tonight . . . his surgery may be set back to Friday. We are continuing to pray that this sweet boy remains in stable condition so the Doctors can work their miracles. He is in the best of care 24 hours a day and being watched closely.

Stephanie and Casey are doing well and staying strong. Leo is also in the best of care with his Nana and Granny. He recently went to the book store with Nana and bought a "Corda-Boy" for Sullivan (this is a replica of his "lovey") and has been able to spend time with his mommy and daddy.

I know we all feel helpless as to what we can do for Casey and Stephanie, but they know we love them, that we are in constant prayer for them, and that we are carrying the weight of this in our hearts. This is all we can do.

I understand that there is quite a bit of information you are asked to provide in order to post a comment on this blog site. I apologize, after learning more about blog sites (I really know nothing!), I realize there are some better options out there for these sort of situations. But, at this point . . . well, I am not changing the site :0). So, if you would like to send a message to the Spay's but do not want to give all of the needed information, I have set up an email account that our families can check. Please keep the emails as comments only. We will not be responding to these, that is not the purpose of the account. I don't mean to sound harsh, but please comments and words of encouragement only.

I have set up a meal calendar on carecalendar.org. However, I am hesitant to post the logon and security code on the blog site. So, in order to avoid doing that and keeping a little more privacy of your contribution . . . I am going to have you email me @ the above address if you would like to bring a meal. I will then respond with the information needed for the website.

I feel like I have just been very bossy . . . sorry. I just want to shelter and protect my family from any unneeded stresses. Thank you for your understanding.
